Mindful Parenting
PLEASE NOTE: I have a separate website dedicated to Mindful Parenting. Visit mindfulparenting.com for more info, resources, and my blog.
Parenting can be both deeply rewarding and profoundly challenging. Most parents want to raise their children with love, patience, and wisdom, yet stress, conflict, and old patterns can make it hard to show up the way we intend. Without the right support, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected from the relationship we long to build with our children.
Mindful Parenting offers another way. By bringing awareness, compassion, and curiosity into everyday family life, parents can move out of reactivity and into more responsive, flexible ways of relating. With over 20 years of mindfulness practice, I’ve seen how these skills help parents regulate emotions, strengthen empathy, and foster deeper connection with their children.
How I Support Parents & Families
In my work with families, I provide a warm, interactive space where parents and children feel seen, supported, and guided. Together, we explore strategies for:
- Improving communication and emotional literacy
- Setting healthy and effective limits
- Reducing conflict and power struggles
- Building trust, resilience, and self-esteem
- Navigating family stress, grief, or transitions with more ease
My approach is attachment-focused and informed by the latest findings in psychology, child development, and neuroscience. The goal is not “perfect parenting” but more connected relationships, where both parents and children feel respected and understood.
Mindful Parenting Courses
In addition to therapy, I offer a six-week Mindful Parenting series for parents who want practical skills in a supportive group setting. Together we cover child and brain development, emotional regulation, communication, anger, setting limits, and strengthening connection. Each session includes handouts, practices, and tools you can apply right away.
Whether you are seeking one-on-one support, family therapy, or group learning, my goal is to help you feel more grounded and confident as a parent—so your whole family can thrive.
